My Topical Approach
While skincare does not address the root cause of acne, it can absolutely influence how quickly the skin calms, heals, and responds to deeper internal work.
Inside my 1:1 acne program, I review each client’s current routine and build a personalized topical strategy based on their skin barrier, acne pattern, sensitivity, pigmentation, oil production, and long-term goals.
Why Topicals Matter
Many of my clients come to me after trying countless products, actives, prescriptions, facials, or “acne-safe” routines without lasting results. Often, the issue is not that they need more products — it’s that their skin needs the right support, in the right order.
A routine that is too harsh can keep the barrier inflamed and reactive. A routine that is too passive may not address congestion, pigmentation, or texture. This is why topical support has to be personalized.
What I look at:
When coming up with your skincare routine, I look at:
Barrier health
Acne pattern
Redness, pigmentation, and post-breakout marks
Oil production and dehydration
Current products and irritation triggers
Sunscreen habits and UV protection
Readiness for actives

My Philosophy
My approach is barrier-first.
That means I want the skin calm, hydrated, and resilient before layering in too many actives. I believe topicals can be incredibly helpful when they are chosen strategically and introduced at the right time.
For some clients, the first step is simplifying and repairing. For others, we may carefully add ingredients to support congestion, inflammation, pigmentation, or texture. The goal is not a 12-step routine — it’s a routine that makes sense for your skin.
Topicals are one piece of the larger acne picture. Inside the program, we pair this with deeper root-cause work around gut health, nutrition, inflammation, blood sugar, hormones, digestion, and stress physiology.
